Women's Chocolate Retreat

Opportunity to Explore Women's Spirituality"

The
Good Book
and a box of heavenly chocolates, along with excerpts from the wonderful
book,“Women
Who Run With the Wolves”
by Clarisa Pinkola Estes, will
help focus our time for personal and group reflection and prayer. This
weekend will reflect on WHY chocolate for retreat and reflection…and WHY
Women run with the Wolves ...
Cost:
$145.00—includes five home-cooked meals, chocolate snacks, linens and
room accommodations for two nights.
The
retreat begins on Friday with dinner at 6:00 p.m. (registration at 5:30
p.m.) and will conclude after Sunday Liturgy at 11:00 a.m.
There will be time for sharing, common
prayer, group activities, discussion on movie clips, free time, and just
to enjoy the serenity of the Retreat House. Saturday
evening will include a Chocolate Fondue Party and good conversation.
Come
Away to the Quiet of Loyola of the Lakes Retreat House. Hear God
address you, rest with Scripture, and give yourself to presentations and
prayer.
About Our Presenters...
Sandy Kirschner
Sandy is an
experienced Campus Minister bringing counseling and pastoral care to
young adults. Her career spans 25 years, teaching theology at diocesan
High Schools and Campus Ministry at schools and Parishes. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies/Education and Psychology. Sandy
is dedicated to enthusiastic and dynamic teaching as a means of creating
and nurturing a lifelong love of God, neighbor and self.
Sr. Patricia Lenard, CSFN
Sr. Patricia is a
member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She is an
experienced Educator/Administrator. Her career in education includes
working in Pennsylvania., Ohio and Michigan. She is experienced in both
Junior High and High school. She has taught and holds certification in
Theology, Math, Science and Cisco Networking, as well as Administration.
Her passion is ministering to youth and women, making God present in the
simple and ordinary. She has conducted retreats throughout her career.
