Women's Chocolate Retreat

Friday-Sunday, October 17-19, 2008

Theme: “Sweet Opportunity to Explore Women's Spirituality"
Presented by Sr. Patricia Lenard, CSFN and Sandy Kirschner

The Good Book and a box of heavenly chocolates, along with excerpts from the wonderful book,“Women Who Run With the Wolves” by Clarisa Pinkola Estes, will help focus our time for personal and group reflection and prayer. This weekend will reflect on WHY chocolate for retreat and reflection…and WHY Women run with the Wolves ...

Cost: $145.00—includes five home-cooked meals, chocolate snacks, linens and room accommodations for two nights.

The retreat begins on Friday with dinner at 6:00 p.m. (registration at 5:30 p.m.) and will conclude after Sunday Liturgy at 11:00 a.m.

There will be time for sharing, common prayer, group activities, discussion on movie clips, free time, and just to enjoy the serenity of the Retreat House. Saturday evening will include a Chocolate Fondue Party and good conversation.

Come Away to the Quiet of Loyola of the Lakes Retreat House.  Hear God address you, rest with Scripture, and give yourself to presentations and prayer.
